February is National Pet Dental Health Month!
Turning away your nose from your furry friend’s bad breath? Attention! This might be a sign of a serious health risk for your pet to his/her gums, teeth and internal organs.
The American Veterinary Medical Association reports that 70% of cats and 80% of dogs have some kind of oral disease by the age of 3.
Signs of oral disease include: yellow teeth, stinky breath and inflamed & red gums.
Let this month be a reminder of how important it is to take care of your pet’s dental health throughout the year.
