Miami, FL – Veterinarians, technicians and staff from Miami Veterinary Specialists were pleased to take part in the 2007 Mercedes-Benz Corporate Run on May 3rd at Bayfront Park in Miami. The certified 3.1 mile road race/walk benefits the South Florida chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. According to Dr. Marc Wosar of Miami Veterinary Specialists, “It’s nice to do community charity work while building team spirit.”

More than 19,000 people from 540 companies participated in the Mercedes-Benz Corporate Run. Dr. Alvaro Larin of Miami Veterinary Specialists placed 5th among CEO’s who participated. The event was followed by Miami’s largest office party, where companies “networked” among team tents. The event is produced by TeamFootWorks, a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit corporation.
