Miami, FL – Miami
Veterinary Specialists (MVS) is pleased to announce the addition of Jonathan
J. Kreissler, DVM to the full time internal medicine practice at MVS. Dr.
Kreissler will offer an advanced diagnostic medicine service, which will
focus on minimally invasive techniques such as ultrasound-guided biopsy acquisition,
laparoscopy, and endoscopy of the urinary tract, nasal cavity, lungs and
ear canals. His practice will also include helping patients with the
management of chronic pain associated with, for example, cancer pain and
arthritis.
“My
primary goal is to provide excellent patient care. Since internal
medicine cases are often complex, the best care is frequently accomplished
by involving several veterinarians, each with a unique role in the diagnostic
and/or treatment plan,” according to Dr. Jonathan J. Kreissler. “My
role is to facilitate an efficient diagnostic work-up to establish a prognosis
and an appropriate therapeutic plan that meets the client’s expectations
for their pet, all while working closely with the referring veterinarian
for follow-up management.”
“MVS encourages the referring veterinarians to be actively involved
in the patient's care. They promote constant communication with the
referring veterinarian and that's part of what makes the MVS practice such
a successful one. This is why I choose to practice at MVS,” says
Dr. Jonathan J. Kreissler.
